NCL Corp.'s Norwegian Majesty will sail a new seven-day Bahamas and Florida itinerary from Charleston beginning this fall through April 2009. Starting November 15, 2008, the 1,462-passenger Norwegian Majesty will depart on Saturdays with stops in Grand Bahama Island; Nassau; Great Stirrup Cay (NCL's private island in the Bahamas); and Port Canaveral for Orlando. Guests with existing reservations on the Norwegian Majesty this fall will automatically be moved to the new itinerary or they can cancel. When the ship starts the new itinerary, a number of Freestyle 2.0 enhancements will be in place, specifically in regard to food and beverage.
On embarkation day, guests will receive a sparkling wine welcome. Lobster will be featured in the main dining rooms and in the specialty restaurants every night. Le Bistro, the alternative French restaurant, will introduce new specialty items, including Côte de Boeuf, a 32-ounce premium gold angus rib eye steak; Plateau de Fruits de Mar, a cold seafood platter including mussels, lobster tail, shrimp and raw oysters on the half shell; and a braised Maine lobster. Nighttime entertainment will include two new themed parties.
