The Eruption Has Caused a Mess for Travelers. 
Are you covered with our Trip Protection or Just Volcanic Ash?

We always ask our clients if they want our Trip Protection insurance included with their travel plan.  We highly recommend taking insurance and we all do ourselves when we travel.  There are many reasons why we do this.  Some of our clients say no but, increasingly, most take the coverage.  Insurance is what it is.  It covers the unexpected.  When clients say " no", I do have concern for them.  I see them spending their hard earned money and they could potentially loose it by denying the coverage.  I have seen clients loose thousands of dollars because they did not want to spend another hundred and be covered. 

With the current Volcano situation we realized immediately that some of our clients may be affected.  We checked with our insurance carrier and received great news.  Our clients who took the coverage with their booking are covered if they cannot fly to or from their vacation destination.  There was one exception.  If you were going to vacation in Iceland then you would not be covered.  I have no clue why but I also don't have clients going to Iceland this year.  It is true that this current situation will end and is in the beginning stages of getting back to normal regarding flights in Europe.  This is not the only volcano in the world.  Yes, this is an unusual occurrence regarding the air and what it has done to travel.  There will be other situations that occur around the world that could affect travel.  We sincerely hope that our clients take our strong advice to be prepared no matter what happens worldwide which we have no control over.  This is why we take the coverage ourselves and we strongly suggest that you do to.
